Communication is Key

Many mare owners choose DeGraff Stables for all of their breeding services. And… we love to earn repeat business! They may breed one or more mares to a farm service stallion(s), and/or choose a stallion from a different location. We are pleased to coordinate the management of the mare’s cycle with our veterinarian and the stallion station of choice. We obtain the notice required per each stallion’s breeding farm and confirm that all paperwork required for the mare’s breeding is completed ahead of time. Communication with the breeding farm is a key component to a successful breeding and we follow closely the shipping farm’s individual procedures. Fed-Ex or UPS shipments are received daily and Saturdays. Courier service for airline pickup for any counter to counter shipments is available seven days a week. We receive the semen, inseminate and return the container(s) and complete all breed registry paperwork as required.
