You may feel confident in bringing your mare to us to manage the entire Embryo Transfer process from breeding to transfer. The breeding of your mare may be to one of the on farm stallion(s) or to the off-site stallion of your choice. We will make your arrangements to a recipient from our band of mares, or, help make your arrangements with an Embryo Receiving Center that additionally provides a large, reproductive mare herd. We will facilitate the contract process and coordinate all shipments of embryos recovered through to helping arrange shipping for your recipient mare to your home. Special arrangements may be made if you wish to provide your own recipient mare(s). We will also help you with following the appropriate breed registration rules. Embryos are generally collected from the donor mare on day 7 after ovulation. We will ship via courier and airline counter to counter service to the host recipient center of your choice. The first pregnancy check on the recipient mare is day 12 of gestation (5 days after the transfer) and a definitive positive or negative is known by day 14 of gestation (7 days after transfer).
