Collected on a Regular Basis

Stallions can be collected and frozen any time of the year for domestic breeding purposes. Stallions will produce the greatest numbers of sperm and therefore the largest number of straws per collection during late spring and early summer, however most stallion semen is frozen during the fall and winter after the show and breeding season. The stallions on-farm at DeGraff Stables are able to be collected and froze on a regular basis around their cooled semen shipping requirements for domestic storage and use.
