THIS scares me. NO quarter horse is BUILT to withstand the "crunches" demanded in DRESSAGE competition. Simply put, they are NOT built right conformationally to bundle up and dance around on their toes, and SHAME on you for making them, they will be so
crippled YOU will not know what to do. OH, you can beat them into it, for awhile...... now I've heard it all.

Hello Sally, we appreciate your voicing your opinion, but do not share your view. the horses that we are breeding and competing have the desired characteristics of the dressage horse; an uphill build, a great sloping shoulder and plenty of impulsion from behind. On top of that, we have the quarter horse mind! kind, caring, quiet, willing and eager to please the rider. While they may not compete at the uppermost level of dressage, our DeGraff Stables bred animals have big, pretty trots, canters with cadence and that willing attitude. Many riders cannot get along with and/or are not accomplished enough to ride some of the horses with exotic movements. there is definitely a place for this animal. dressage means training and he (In Dee Extreme) has taken to this type of training under Lynn's care and we are proud to see his accomplishments. We hope that many other people will look to us for their next partner; one that is great-minded and compeitive!
